The Human Body Continues To Live After Death
When a person dies, their body continues to live and tries to repair the damage, so-to-speak.
According to a report published in Seeker, it is not unusual for certain proteins within the body to increase after death.
A study, published in Open Biology, suggests some of the cells in the human body will continue to live on for quite some time, despite the fact the person has passed on.
The process is said to affect all mammals, not just humans.
The research indicates the body slowly shuts down within a couple of days.
It’s possible that some cells live longer than others, or that there’s another reason these cells remain active after the organism has died.
