Talk about a show! What a way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with Jon Bon Jovi on Tuesday night.

Bon Jovi had a dramatic entrance with special effects and a build up that gave audiences an adrenaline rush because he was finally going to hit the stage. Crowds began to scream and all of a sudden you see his silhouette centered behind a a transparent curtain.

At one point in the show, Bon Jovi remembered the first DJ to play their debut single, Runaway in 1984, but he couldn’t recall the call letters. So what did he do to get the answer he was searching for? He teased the audience by saying, ‘I’ll make out with any of the ladies in here if they can tell me the station that played our debut single.’ Of course the ladies went wild and one lucky lady knew the answer and had one planted on her.

The show was full of excitement and appreciation. Bon Jovi talk about the turmoil and hard times he went through in the past three years and how he overcame it. He assured and inspired the crowd that whatever is going on in your life right now, it will get better. Years down the road you’ll look back and see how things have gotten better.

Bon Jovi played songs off his 13th album This House Is Not For Sale which is their first without guitarist Richie Sambora, who left the group in 2013. There’s no denying that his iconic sounds was missing. ‘I wouldn’t wish anybody to go through that kind of twists and turns in the road,” he said of the changes in the band. “But they always tell you, when you come through the other side, you’re going to be bigger, better, stronger.”
