Get Ready for One of the Country's Best Triathlons!
St. Anthony’s Triathlon is excited to announce a musical concert addition to the 35th annual St. Anthony’s Triathlon weekend, to be held Friday, April 27, 2018 at 6 p.m. in Vinoy Park. This year’s free concert will feature two acts including country artist and Florida-born triathlete, Erin Cosgrove, and The Petty Hearts, a Tom Petty Tribute Band.
Named in 2017 as one of “10 Great Destination Triathlons” by Complete Tri, St. Anthony’s Triathlon celebrates its 35th year in 2018 with a beautiful St. Petersburg setting, great fan support and tremendous competition.
The three events - St. Anthony's Triathlon, Sprint Triathlon and Meek & Mighty - have something for everyone whether you are a highly-ranked professional, newbie amateur, youth competitor, volunteer or spectator cheering a friend or family member.
Held in downtown St. Petersburg, the events take place in an eclectic, historic, metropolitan area with shops, restaurants, unique architecture and stately residential neighborhoods. The Triathlon and Sprint events begin at North Shore Beach, a picturesque starting point into Tampa Bay. St. Anthony’s traditional late April date is conducive to good weather. The average temperature is 83 degrees. Following the event, everyone can enjoy the waterfront awards party with live music, food and refreshments. Then, take in sights and scenes of St. Petersburg.
