St Pete Pier Is A GO!!

St. Pete's city council approved the first wave of spending to get the new St Pete Pier project under way. The price tag to get things rolling is to the tune of 17.6 million dollars. When the project is said and done the overall price will be around 66 million, and there are talks of an additional 10 million in what is being called improvements before the last nail is driven in and the new paint drys. Some folks are a little concerned because that extra cost will be put on taxpayers.
