The Florida Highway patrol says hazard lights are for emergency use only when your vehicle is pulled over and stopped. It is illegal to use your hazard lights while driving in Florida. This morning in the pouring rain you can spot hundreds of drivers breaking the law using hazard lights so they can see. So, should it be legal to use your hazards in the downpour so others can see your car?
