Wonder Woman’s Gal Gadot Got Similar Salary As Henry Cavill Got For ‘Man of Steel’

There are stories going around now that Gal Gadot got only a fraction of what actor Henry Cavill was paid for his role as Superman in Man of Steel. Well, those stories just are not accurate.

The two actors each received close to the same base salary for their "debut standalone outings" as their respective superhero characters. Now, there are also incentives that likely brought each actor far more than the original negotiated salary. As Wonder Woman has already taken in over $570 million worldwide, "just" $100 million less than Man of Steel, it's likely that Gadot will earn far more than the base salary, as did Cavill.

She'll also likely have a big payday the next time she dresses up as Wonder Woman for the camera.
