35,000 people will gather on the 4th of July to watch Nathan;s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest at Coney Island New York.

You can watch the competitive eating contest on Sports TV this year. Watch Joey Chestnut, the 2016 winner jam down hot dog after hot dog trying to beat his record from last year which was 70 dogs in 10 minutes. The competition airs on ESPN2  at noon.

Joey Chestnut’s 70 hot dogs add up to 19,600 calories, 1,260 grams of fat, 54,600 mg of sodium and 700 grams of protein.

On the women’s side Miki Sudo has won three years in a row eating 38 hot dogs in 10 minutes buns included.

As for how to watch these guys cram so many hot dogs down in so little time without feeling sick – I have NO IDEA!
