Now we’ve heard it officially from the people at Disney during the D23 Expo. Some changes and additions are coming to Walt Disney World and they look pretty impressive!

The D23 Expo over the weekend revealed what the Disney corporation has planned for it’s theme parks and resorts, movies and everything else ‘Disney.’

Among the big reveals was the confirmation of TRON Lightcycle Power Run Rollercoaster which will be in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. At Hollywood Studios, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will replace The Great Movie Ride inside the Chinese Theater. Epcot is going to get a Guardians of the Galaxy attraction, which will replace Ellen’s Energy Adventure in the Universe of Energy. Another addition to Epcot is a Ratatouille themed ride at the French pavilion.

Other plans include a gondola system connecting several resorts to Hollywood Studios, a new point-to-point Uber-like transportation system within the Walt Disney World Resort and, of course, the completion of a Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land, each at Hollywood Studios. Toy Story Land is expected to open in 2018, and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is expected to open in 2019.
