If you are a Dale Jr. fan you undoubtedly know that this is his last year behind the wheel. Rumor has it that Dale will continue in the sport as an announcer in some degree. That obviously leaves an open seat in the number 88 car, well until today that is.
Hendrick Motorsports announced that Alex Bowman will replace Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the organization’s number 88 Chevrolet for the 2018 season, with sponsorship from Nationwide and Axalta.
