Fun Fact: Siri LOVES Queen

Apple iPhone’s Siri is many things (an assistant or maybe, for some, a friend), but who knew she was a Queen fan?! The folks over at A Journal of Musical…

8th September 1976: British rock group Queen at Les Ambassadeurs, where they were presented with silver, gold and platinum discs for sales in excess of one million of their hit single ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. The band are, from left to right, John Deacon, Freddie Mercury (Frederick Bulsara, 1946 – 1991), Roger Taylor and Brian May.

Apple iPhone’s Siri is many things (an assistant or maybe, for some, a friend), but who knew she was a Queen fan?!

The folks over at A Journal of Musical Things figured out if you tell Siri, “I see a little silhouette of a man” that she’ll finish the rest of Queen’s iconic “Bohemian Rhapsody.”  Seriously, try it out or check out the video below for our friends without iPhones.

Coincidently, this wasn’t the only Queen-related Internet search that has garnered attention as of late:  Per USA Today, since the appointment of new White House director of communications Anthony Scaramucci, there has been a surge in people looking up the meaning of “Scaramouch,” which sounds an awful lot like Scaramucci.

How big was the increase?  A minuscule 8185%.

(FYI:  A “Scaramouch” is a stock character in the Italian commedia dell'arte that burlesques the Spanish don and is characterized by boastfulness and cowardliness.)
