A young bald eagle was spotted at a waste facility in Florida. It was rescued by state wildlife biologists, and was brought to the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office.
The juvenile bird was suffering from poisoning and was treated by an animal clinic. The bird was then transferred to the Eye of the Eagle Wildlife Sanctuary.
When the eagle is healthy, it will be released.
