Local Animal Shelters Waive Adoption Fees This Weekend

Local animal shelters and the SPCA Tampa are waiving fees to adopt pets this weekend which can be as high as $200. It's wonderful having a dog or cat to come home to everyday, but there are some things to think about before you adopt. Local vets don't want to make anyone feel bad, but they say "If you can't afford the vet, don't get the pet". Pets can be time consuming and expensive. Make sure you talk to the shelter people about which pet fits your lifestyle and living conditions.
