A father in England had enough of his 13 year-old son not replying to texts he was sending him. So Dad created an app. It's called ReplyASAP and it forces the recipient to respond. Once a text is received, an alarm goes off even if the phone is on silent. Then the child has to respond and if he or she hits cancel instead, the parent is notified.

What a great idea! As much as kids being on their phones too much can annoy parents, it's nice when technology can work to keep kids safe and let parents know where they are and what they're up to.
