Regardless of your opinion of Rod Stewart’s recent collaboration with pop group DNCE in covering his classic “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy,” he was certainly a sight for sore eyes during last night’s MTV VMAs telecast.

Sir Stewart joined the Joe Jonas-fronted group during a raucous performance that ended up on the rooftop of a Las Vegas hotel.  Rod sounded awesome (as expected) and was absolutely working a pair of skinny white trousers and an awesome silver blazer.

Wouldn’t expect anything less from one of music’s most-gifted live performers!  Now if only we could get MORE rock acts on the VMAs next year…
