Paul Simon, Edie Brickell Donate $1 Million to Hurricane Harvey Aid

Paul Simon and his wife, musician-actress Edie Brickell, are coming to the aid of Hurricane Harvey victims in Texas and elsewhere.

The couple has pledged $1 million to assist in relief efforts, particularly home restoration and medical aid in smaller towns around Houston.

The donation is among a number of music-related efforts to help hurricane victims, including a statewide initiative in Texas by musicians and music venues to hold events during October to raise money for relief efforts.
