A short time ago, the Lakeland Fire Department responded to reports of a downed tree that had fallen on top of a house.
Upon arrival, Firefighters assessed the damage to the structure and determined it was severe.
As a result of the damage, eight people have been displaced.
According to the Lakeland Fire Department’s Twitter account, four of those individuals went to stay with friends/family, and the other four went to stay at a local shelter.
