There was an episode filmed in front of the studio audience in which Sam and Diane got married... or did they? An alternate scene was filmed with a closed set, which was what the TV audience saw when it aired at the end of Season 5.
How did Norm drink all of that beer without getting drunk? Was it really beer?
Cliff Claven wasn't in the original plans for the show. John Ratzenberger had actually auditioned to be Norm, but failed to earn the role. It was he who suggested the 'know-it-all' character.
