Hurricane Irma left her mark with grand gestures, knocking down big trees and power lines. But in a round about way, Irma affected some with little dirty details…Lice. Some families had to bunk up together. All the kids got a chance to hang out together, but sharing beds and huddling up could have resulted in spreading lice. Yikes.

Our friends at ABC Action News share some tips on how to prevent lice and what to do if your child gets lice. Be wary of kids putting their heads together to stare at a phone or iPad. That’s an opportunity for lice to transmit by head-hopping.
