Sometimes managers question whether or not telecommuters are as productive as employees who are on-site.
A new study documented that people who work from home are more productive, even if they have kids. Why? Because the work-from-homers put in extra effort.
My theory is that not only are they trying to put in extra effort, but the telecommuters are also feeling fresh because they didn't have to sit in rush hour traffic on the way in and aren't trying to fly out the door, knowing they've got drive-time home traffic to get through, as well.
