The marquees at resorts all along the Las Vegas Strip displayed the message “When things get dark, Las Vegas shines.” after they went dark at 10:05 p.m. for 11 minutes Sunday night, marking the time and duration one week ago of the shooting at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival. Stephen Paddock killed 58 people and injured more than 450 when he opened fire on the crowd from the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay.
