How 25 Favorite Candies Got Their Names

Some are more obvious than others, and the source of some candies’ names may have been forgotten over time. Here’s a list of how some of your favorite Halloween candies got their names.
One candy was originally labeled “The 3 Musketeers, Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry. 3 bars in a package.” We now know it as simply 3 Musketeers.
Candy corn was invented around a time when having candy shaped like common objects was the “in” thing. It did so well that it has been around ever since.
Dum Dums lollypops were named that simply because it “was a word any child could say.”
