Having information at our fingertips is a beautiful thing.

We have dopamine to blame for being wired for addiction. It is the chemical responsible for reward-motivated behavior.
New information causes a release of dopamine. We can find plenty of that on our devices.
Here is some advice that will help you tame the addiction:
1. Buy an alarm clock. Then you don't have your blue-light emitting device next to the bed.
2. Delete some apps that encourage your compulsive behavior.
