The board game 'Clue', the paper airplane, and Wiffle Ball join the collection of hall-of-fame-worthy toys in The Strong’s National Toy Hall of Fame.
There isn't much explanation necessary on each toy.
The game 'Clue' was created by a British couple during World War II. Patented in 1944, it was released as 'Cluedo' in 1949. Rights were then purchased by Parker Brothers who released the game as 'Clue.'
The Wiffle Ball game was created when a retired baseball player designed a ball that could be used in a suburban area so small areas could be used to play the game without breaking windows.
The Wright Brothers first took flight in 1903, and it wasn't long after that a paper version was created.
