We drive on I-4 all the time, and each day we see the incidents both east and westbound backing up traffic for miles! By data collected by Teletrac Navman, a GPS tracking company, I-4 was rated the most dangerous highway in America. Check out the stats:

Federal data indicates there are 1.25 fatalities per mile on I-4.
