Irving Azoff, who manages the Eagles, tells Best Classic Bands that the two acts are "just talking about a handful" of concerts, including one at Denver's Coors Field that he deemed "an Eagles/Buffett celebration up in the mountains there."
Eagles, of course, began touring again this year with late co-founder Glenn Frey's son Deacon and Vince Gill in the lineup; The group played a handful of shows, but Joe Walsh recently told the Las Vegas Sun that "next year' we're going to play between 40 and 50 shows."
Walsh told us earlier this year that the group's pair of stadium shows during July in Los Angeles and New York convinced he, Don Henley and Timothy B. Schmit to return to the road:
"We figured we would at least try it and see where it went...And we tried it out in Los Angeles and it was just magic. It really was. It was received wonderfully and the energy that we all have is very healing, so I think Glenn would be proud of this and we decided to do it some more."
