Update: Shortly after 11 p.m. this evening, the Tampa Police Department announced they had arrested Howell Donaldson III and he will be charged with all four murders.

Earlier today, police followed up on a tip connected to the Seminole Heights murders.

The tip led them to the Ybor City McDonald’s. Upon arrival, they blocked off a section of the parking lot and searched a vehicle parked at the location.

According to 10News, police found a firearm inside the vehicle.

Once inside the fast-food restaurant, officers asked an employee to come in with them for questioning. It is believed the vehicle belongs to the McDonald’s worker brought in for questioning.

Another employee interviewed by 10News said the man brought in for questioning has only been an employee for around two months.

As you know, today is day 51 of when the first victim was killed in Seminole Heights.
