The proposed HB1 Bullying Bill – is making parents upset because it makes no sense at all. Under the proposed bill, if your child is bullied, you can get a voucher to remove your child from school and into a private school. Parents say the new bill makes the bullied child (the victim) uproot their life and move, while the child doing the bullying remains. The new bill would cost Florida $30 million dollars a year and it does not address the real problem, the child doing the bullying!
