If you have a dog, you know naming him or her can sometimes be difficult. Each year, the variety of names often changes based on movies or television. This year it still holds true. The top 10 most popular male and female dog names reflect that.

On the female side:
Bella, Lucy, Daisy, Luna, Lola, Sadie, Molly, Maggie, Bailey, Sophie

On the male side:
Max, Charlie, Cooper, Buddy, Jack, Rocky, Oliver, Bear, Duke, Tucker

Star Wars character names have influenced our dogs’ names. The use of the names Finn, Luke, Leia, Rey & Yoda were up 70%.

Game of Thrones characters’ names also showed up. Use of Khaleesi, Snow, Arya, Jamie and Sansa were up 12%.
