Sting Announces 2018 Acropolis Gigs

Veteran rocker takes his music to an ancient site alert -- Sting is playing the Acropolis in Greece. 

The two shows, on June 22-23, will be part of the former Police man's summer European tour and will take place at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus as the foothills of the site; An announcement on Sting's web site promises they will "undoubtedly be the music event of the year!  At...a venue of unique acoustic and historical significance, this world-renowned artist will give two concerts to the greek audience over two evenings that will be remembered for a long time!"

Sting is continuing to promote his latest album, 2016's 57th & 9th, and beings the tour on June 19 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Earlier this year he released the home video Sting: Live At The Olympia Paris from a concert last April. He'll usher in the New Year on December 31 on Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
