The “farewell” news just keeps on coming!  This time around, it involves Paul Simon, but there are a lot of unanswered questions.

Simon’s “farewell” comes in the form of one big show taking place July 15 in London’s Hyde Park, which will also see James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt on the bill.  Per Rolling Stone, more acts will be announced in the near future.

What’s really confusing is whether it’s a “farewell” show in the U.K. or in the entire world.  It’s really hard to believe that Simon would choose to end his performing career overseas when the most logical way to end it all would be in New York City where he spent his formative years with Art Garfunkel.  As for which NYC venue he’d choose, Simon could really go anywhere, but who wouldn’t love to see him one last time in Central Park?

We sincerely hope more details will come out soon to clarify all of this business.
