Rose famously fronted the band due to Brian Johnson’s hearing issues back in 2016, and according to AC/DC biographer Murray Engleheart, he says, “Speculate all you want but I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: AC/DC will continue with Axl on vocals - new album, touring, the whole nine yards. What was a massive gamble by Angus turned out to be an equally enormous triumph that has set the scene for the future.”
However that makes you feel, there is one fact that is obvious: Rose is clearly still a huge fan of the band and showed that by getting some deeper cuts Bon Scott-fronted cuts added to the setlist once he took to the mic. In honor of Rose’s birthday, we look back on five tracks he helped add back to the setlist.
“Dog Eat Dog”
“Riff Raff”
“Touch Too Much”
“Rock ‘n’ Roll Damnation”
“If You Want Blood (You Got It)”
