AT SEA – MARCH 2: In this handout from the U.S. Coast Guard, a Coast Guard boat approaches Nick Schuyler, a former University of South Florida football player, as he sits on a capsized boat March 2, 2009 in the Gulf of Mexico, off the Coast of Florida. According to reports, four men, Schuyler, former South Florida football player William Bleakley, Oakland Raiders linebacker Marquis Cooper and free-agent defensive lineman Corey Smith left on a fishing trip Saturday morning and did not return. The three other men are still missing. (Photo by Adam Campbell/U.S. Coast Guard via Getty Images)

A Colorado couple who sold everything to follow their dream of sailing the Caribbean has lost everything in John's Pass. Tanner Broadwell and Nikki Walsh worked extra and saved money to buy their dream sailboat. They took off from Tarpon Springs for the adventure of a lifetime and saw it all sink entering John's Pass when they hit a sand bar. The couple is now in Jacksonville staying with family and friends trying to raise the $6700 it will take to get their boat out of the water.
