Dinner With Mr. Barker

I was going through my hard-drive of photos and found this picture of me and Bob Barker. My wife, Christine took this photo when we were all out to dinner. In the photo you can see Bob showing off his new necktie and matching cuff links. Christine had given Bob the combo as a birthday gift which was just a few days prior to this dinner together (BTW... Bob's B-day is December 12th.).

This past December 12th. I called Mr. Barker at his home in Hollywood, and spoke with him on Q105. I wished him a happy 94th birthday, we talked about his secret to longevity... and we talked about tequila. Yep tequila. Bob drank wine before he met Christine and I. Now, Bob drinks really good silver tequila. That's why we send him a big bottle of Patron Gran Platinum every year.

Mr. Barker choosing me to be his Announcer on The Price Is Right was the best thing that ever happened to me. I thank him every chance I get for changing my life and Christine's life forever. Stay tuned... more TPIR memorabilia to come!
