Journey's Greatest Hits, the definitive collection of Journey's best, debuted on the Billboard 200 Albums chart in December of 1988. It has just passed the 500 week mark, becoming the third album in history to do so.

There was a break in the streak beginning in 1990, but the album returned to the chart in 2009.

The only other two albums to have reached this milestone are Bob Marley and The Wailers' Legend: The Best Of Bob Marley and The Wailers and Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon.
