The students are mad because Apple created iPhones and iPhones cause addictive behaviors. They want the tech giant to make their phones with a mode that only allows calls to be made/received, texts to be made/received, and photos to be taken.
Kind of a head scratcher...kids, it's called a flip phone. You can buy one. Or better yet, go to your settings and turn off notifications for apps or delete the apps altogether.
