Have you ever sent a Facebook message and then regretted having hit send? Well, now you can "unsend" messages. So you'll be good as long as the recipient hasn't seen it yet. Facebook said: “We have discussed this feature several times. We will be making it available in the future.” They haven't yet announced the official start date.
