A family in Pasco county got a scare when an alligator made a visit to their front porch area. It's likely the 8 foot long gator was out seeking a mate.

Fun gator mating facts: The female decides if she wants to mate or not. And seventy percent of female alligators are monogamous, but many male alligators will mate several females at once.
