If you were a fan of the Showtime series Dexter, you’ll remember this boat.
For those of you that follow me on my Face Book and Twitter pages, you may have already seen me posting about my neighbor and his boat, “Slice Of Life”. But if you haven’t visited my pages before… here’s the story.
The boat IS the original boat from the series, Dexter. My neighbor on Clearwater Beach was a Hollywood stuntman who regularly worked on the hit show Dexter. When the show came to it’s end, my neighbor purchased the boat from producers and docks it in his back yard. I have been out on the wave runners when the Slice Of Life is in the water and trust me, he gets a lot of attention.
If you’re out on the water and see the Dexter boat, you will probably see a mannequin dressed in hospital scrubs packed in a plastic bag hanging over the bow of the boat (as if Dexter is heading out to sea to dump another victim). Give the boat’s captain a big wave and a blast on your horn… but if asked to “come aboard”… I’d think twice. 🙂
