The gates to Strawberry Field, immortalized in the Beatles classic “Strawberry Fields Forever,” could soon open again, and fans can help in the process while also getting a piece of the original facility in its grounds.

A new campaign has been launched by The Salvation Army to help rebuild the once children’s home and transform it into an educational haven for young adults with learning disabilities.  To raise money, recovered bricks from the children’s home will be sold for £75 ($101.14 USD.)  There’s also a special brick/t-shirt/coffee mug bundle available for £95 ($128.11 USD.)

Only 2,500 bricks will be sold, with each brick cleaned, individually numbered and housed in a special box.  There’s also a four brick limit for each customer.
