We're still waiting for the date the Magnum P.I. pilot will be broadcast. There are a couple of differences from the classic Tom Selleck version.
Magnum is an Afghanistan War veteran played by Jay Hernandez. Higgins is a woman, Juliet Higgins, former MI6.
His buddies T.C. and Rick are also back, and the helicopter looks very similar to the one we knew from the original show. Magnum still gets to drive the red Ferrari, but it takes a beating from what we've seen in the trailer.
The director of the pilot is Justin Lin who is known for his work on the Fast & Furious movies.
