One of the biggest films made in Florida is coming back to theaters. Scarface, the gangster classic featuring Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer, celebrated 35 years at the Tribeca Film Festival and will now hit theaters in June.
The original release came in 1983 was about a Cuban immigrant in Miami who becomes the local drug king. It’s based, loosely, on a 1932 movie of the same name.
Now the movie is coming back to theaters. So far, there’s one location in the Tampa Bay area that will feature the film. Regal Park Place 16 in Pinellas Park will have showings on June 10th and June 13th.
