We know kids are expensive. They get considerably more expensive during the summer. Why? Because we’ve got to keep them entertained (and taken care of while we’re at work). And it adds up! A new study found that parents spend about $170-a-week to entertain their children when school is out. Once the kids are back in school it goes down to $66-a-week. Why the big bump during the summer? Camps and amusement parks aren’t cheap.
