A recent study revealed that for men, the attractiveness of their server affects the enjoyment of their meal. Men polled rated a meal as more tasty when it was served by a waitress wearing make-up, as opposed to a tired-looking woman with bad skin.

Women polled had different results. The location and noisiness of a restaurant influence their dining experience. Yes, we women navigate the world with all of our five senses, rather than just sight.
