New Facebook Feature “Keyword Snooze” May Keep Unwanted Posts Off Newsfeed

This may be one of the best features that Facebook has added to their platform. Sometimes, there's something you want to avoid on your newsfeed.

With the "Keyword Snooze" function, you'll be able to find a keyword in a post that Facebook will use to block similar posts from your newsfeed. This means you can avoid things like show spoilers, politics, or whatever else you don't want to see.

The function isn't a permanent fix. It lasts 30 days, and then you'd have to perform the action again.

Facebook has begun rolling out "Keyword Snooze" and if it works with the few million that get the first opportunity over the next couple of weeks, it will get a full rollout to all users.
