When Walter Carr's car broke down the night before starting a new job, he didn't call in. He just prepared to go to work much earlier...at midnight... on foot! The story only begins there.

While walking, local police picked him up. They took Carr to breakfast and drove him the remainder of the trip to his first job for Bellhops Moving.

During his day of moving, the customer learned his story and posted it to Facebook.

She also set up a GoFundMe page to raise a goal of $2,000 to help repair his car. The page has now raised over $30,000.

Okay, now if that wasn't enough, the CEO of Bellhops Moving heard about the saga as well. He drove from Tennessee to Alabama to meet Walter, and then surprised him by giving him personal Ford Escape.

And to top it off, when Walter graduates college, he plans to enter the U.S. Marines!
