Clearwater Marine Aquarium Rescued Beached 8-Foot Whale From Indian Shores Beach
A crew from the Clearwater Marine Aquarium snapped into action on Friday to save the life of a stranded eight-foot, melon-headed whale.
According to Bay New Nine, the rescue biologist led a team consisting of folks from the CMA, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and National Marine Fisheries Services.
The workers stabilized the animal, then transported it to Sea World in Orlando to further it’s recovery.
