A new study out of USF says music could affect our food choices. Dr. Dipayan Biswas is a marketing professor at USF. He worked on the study and explained, "Music affects our excitement level and our relaxation level which in turn affects our food choices."

Louder music could cause you to buy or eat heavier foods.

Dr. Biswas said, "Loud-volume music agitates our physiological system so it makes us more excited, so it makes our bodies more excited, higher state of arousal, so higher excitement. Higher arousal makes us choose more indulgent foods."
