Taylor Swift took her summer of 2018 show at Toronto’s Rogers Centre back to the “Summer of 69” with a special treat for the crowd of 40,000.
When Swift got word that Canadian rocker Bryan Adams played next door at the Scotia Bank Arena the night before, she arranged to have him join her for her second night.
As Swift launched into the first verse of the 1985 hit, Adams appeared on stage through a trapped door elevator to start verse two. The pair then continued trading lines back and forth.
Swift performed “Summer of 69” for Adams’ hometown back in 2011 and says it’s one of her “favorite songs ever written.”
