It's a bad idea to check your work email on the weekends. A study at Virginia Tech University found people who check work emails after they’ve left the office, don't realize how bad it really is for their health and relationships. When in your mind, work and personal life are simultaneously competing for attention, it creates anxiety. And then spouses and children feel it, too. And the study found if your boss thinks you have “flexible boundaries," this could turn into no boundaries.
