Did you know that Google is tracking your location... right now?

If you don't want Google to track and store your location history, you can set the privacy setting and it will prevent them from doing so. At least that's what Google wants you to believe. But it has been revealed that even with "Location History" paused, some Google apps automatically store your time-stamped location data without asking.

While Google says their notifications are very clear, some aren't convinced.

Google says to follow these directions if you want to turn your location settings off.

1. Use your browser and go to myactivity.google.com

2. Go to "Activity Controls" and turn off both "Web & App Activity" and "Location History"

But this is just one company that is tracking you on your smartphone. So, if you absolutely do not want anyone tracking you... through that phone into the Gulf.
